Just as the techniques and growth in the martial arts are limitless, so too are the personalities and stories of those who commit themselves to a life on the mats and in the cage.

I intend to tell their stories.

Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, I was exposed to Tae Kwon Do at the age of six. I fell in love with the discipline, the daily challenges to overcome, and of course learning new ways to kick and submit my training partners. It was during these formative years in the late 90’s that I was first introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which was still only beginning its ascent in the world of martial arts.

After a 15 year hiatus from martial arts, I joined a Jiu Jitsu academy and was astonished by how far the sport had come.

However daunting the task of catching up was, I became obsessed with the limitless potential for improvement and swore to never leave the mats again.

Shortly after, I was introduced to MMA, and it was then that I realized how many inspiring stories were going untold.

I began shooting training sessions and events with my iPhone and became obsessed with improving the quality of my work to a level congruent to the talent and sacrifice of the athletes I covered.

Currently, I dedicate my efforts to highlighting the stories of all the remarkable athletes who put it all on the line underneath the bright lights, in grueling training sessions and everywhere in between.
